Neon Red Laser Corydoras Catfish (Corydoras aeneus) is a strikingly colored variety of the popular Aeneus Corydoras Catfish. Its oxblood red body, glowing with an iridescent sheen, is beautifully complemented by golden fins, making it a showy addition to any freshwater community setup. In the wild, these catfish inhabit slower-moving waters and live in schools of 20 to 30 fish. To keep them happy in your aquarium, provide at least a 30-gallon tank with a soft sandy substrate. Aquascape with plants, smooth rocks, and driftwood, leaving open spaces for swimming. Neon Red Laser Corydoras are social fish, so a small school of six or more is ideal. Their omnivorous diet should include quality flake food, pellets, and frozen (thawed) bloodworms, brine shrimp and mysis shrimp for adult species.
