April’s Aquarium is a local fish store here in Vancouver that supplies properly quarantined, predominantly live, fresh food fed animals from all over the world at the behest of specialized collectors, breeders, and hobbyists. The owner, Darrin, takes great pride in these quarantine and care practices as well as hosting a highly involved and knowledgeable staff.

Way more flow than I expected had modify it to fit my custom tank height but work better than other sponge filters

It really made my sponge very quite and still has great flow worth the buy

My fish love picking at the cube and it doesn't have a heavy fishy smell to it

Resilient and quick growing plant! A sprig of the plant broke off when planting it, so I just let it float around the tank and about a week later it had sprouted long, strong roots and was able to plant it too! It’s fun to watch it grow day-to-day and watch the tops of the plant close and open with the night and day while my tank is still cycling.

Great store, fish were packaged nicely and secure, especially being shipped to alberta. Will definitely use again, and highly recommend
