Description
Nannostomus anduzei, also known as the Miniature Pencilfish, is a small, peaceful fish native to the upper Orinoco River basin in Venezuela and the Rio Ererê drainage in Brazil. These fish are known for their small size, reaching a maximum length of about 2 cm (0.8 inches)
Miniature Pencilfish thrive in heavily planted aquariums with soft, acidic water. They prefer environments with plenty of hiding spots, such as driftwood branches and leaf litter. These fish are best kept in groups of at least eight to encourage natural behavior and reduce skittishness.
