- We guarantee our livestock for 7 days from purchase/delivery if our care recommendations and tank requirements were followed.
- Proof Required: We may require photos of the deceased animal, proof of purchase (receipt/order number), and/or a water sample from your tank for testing.

- Local customers may return livestock within 72 hours of purchase for a refund, provided the animal is alive and in original condition. Returns must be brought to the store; we do not provide pickup services.

Marigold Variatus Platy Overview
- Size: Typically 5–6 cm (2–2.5 inches).
- Coloration: Bright golden-yellow to orange body with red or black accents, often with a shimmering or marbled appearance.
- Fins: May have translucent or colored fins, sometimes with black edging or spots.
- Sexual Dimorphism: Males are smaller and have a gonopodium (modified anal fin); females are larger and rounder.
Habitat & Origin
- Native to eastern Mexico, particularly in slow-moving streams and canals.
- The Variatus species is more tolerant of cooler temperatures than other platies.
