Appearance

  • Small, flat-bodied catfish with a mottled brown coloration that mimics stones and leaf litter.
  • Pectoral fins are broad and spiny, giving an “anchor-like” appearance.
  • Excellent camouflage for natural aquascapes.

  • Minimum Tank Size: 10 gallons (ideal for a small group)
  • Substrate: Fine sand or smooth gravel; prefers leaf litter for hiding.
