We guarantee our livestock for 7 days from purchase/delivery if our care recommendations and tank requirements were followed.
Proof Required: We may require photos of the deceased animal, proof of purchase (receipt/order number), and/or a water sample from your tank for testing.

Livestock Refunds, Returns, & Surrenders

Local customers may return livestock within 72 hours of purchase for a refund, provided the animal is alive and in original condition. Returns must be brought to the store; we do not provide pickup services.

Tank Requirements: A well-structured aquarium with ample hiding spots, such as rocks and plants, is ideal. They thrive in water temperatures between 60-75°F (15.5-24°C) and prefer a high flow rate to mimic their natural habitat
Diet: They are carnivorous and prefer small live or frozen foods. It's important to avoid housing them with very small fish or fry, as they may pose a predatory risk

Behavior: While generally peaceful, males can be territorial, especially during breeding. It's best to keep them in a well-spaced tank to mitigate any aggressive behavior.
