- Family: Gobiidae
- Origin: Endemic to Lake Matano, Sulawesi, Indonesia
- Size: Up to 4.3 cm total length
Natural Habitat
- Found in alkaline freshwater environments with pH above 8
- Prefers areas with empty snail shells (e.g., Tylomelania gemmifera) for shelter
- Lives among rocks, leaf litter, and submerged wood in Lake Matano
