Kuhli Loach (Pangio kuhlii)

Kuhli Loach (Pangio kuhlii), also known as the Coolie Loach or Leopard Loach, is a fascinating and peaceful freshwater fish.

Appearance: They have an eel-like body with a base color ranging from light pink to brassy yellow, adorned with 10 to 15 dark stripes
Size: They can grow up to about 10 cm (4 inches), but the ones you mentioned are around 4 cm
Lifespan: They can live up to 10 years with proper care.
Habitat: In the wild, they are found in slow-moving streams and rivers in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Thailand, and Borneo.
Tank Requirements: They thrive in a well-planted tank with soft, slightly acidic water and a minimum size of 15 gallons. They appreciate plenty of hiding spots like rocks, plants, and debris.
Diet: Kuhli Loaches are omnivores and enjoy a varied diet of live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, tubifex worms, brine shrimp, and insect larvae. They also appreciate vegetable matter like blanched lettuce or zucchini
Behavior: They are shy and peaceful, making them excellent community tank members. They do well with other small, non-aggressive fish.
