These are excellent schooling fish for your community aquarium. They’re hardy and quick and grow to just over 2″ each. Ensure you have a group of at least six! They live about five years, which is a great lifespan for a small freshwater fish. Danios tend to stick to the upper levels of the aquarium and aren’t picky eaters.
