Description

Corydoras trilineatus are a popular species of Corydoras catfish in the aquarium hobby.

 

  1. Temperature: Corydoras trilineatus prefer a temperature range of 72-78°F (22-26°C).

  2. Minimum Tank Size: A minimum tank size of 20 gallons is suitable for a small group of Corydoras trilineatus. They are social fish and thrive in groups.

Feeding Habits: Corydoras trilineatus are omnivores. They accept a variety of foods, including high-quality sinking pellets, flakes, and live or frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp.

Habitat Preference: They are found in slow-moving waters with a soft substrate in their natural habitat. They appreciate a tank with sandy or fine gravel substrate and areas for hiding.

Water pH Level: Corydoras trilineatus prefer slightly acidic to neutral water conditions with a pH range of 6.0-7.5.

Behavior: Corydoras, in general, are social and should be kept in groups of at least 6 individuals. They are bottom-dwellers and are known for their playful and active behavior.

Color and Other Details: Corydoras trilineatus typically has a light body with three dark stripes running along their sides, giving them a distinctive appearance.
