King Blue Tetra (Knodus borki) Large (Aquarium Glaser)
Description
Description
Knodus borki, commonly known as the Blue Tetra, is a small, vibrant fish native to the rivers and streams of Colombia and Brazil. It typically grows to about 2 inches (5 cm) in length
These fish thrive in heavily planted aquariums with a dark substrate and floating plants to diffuse the lighting. They prefer water temperatures between 72-78°F (22-26°C) and a pH range of 5.5-7.0. Blue Tetras are omnivorous and enjoy a varied diet, including small live and frozen foods like bloodworms and daphnia, as well as vegetable matter such as blanched spinach
Although generally peaceful, they can occasionally nip at the fins of other fish, especially if kept in cramped conditions. It's best to keep them in groups of at least 8-10 to minimize aggression
