    • Its profile is similar to that of other small crabs, with a total of ten legs, including two big pinchers. 

  2. Natural Habitat:

    • These crabs inhabit forest areas near streams, rivers, and ponds in Java, Indonesia. They spend most of their time on land but also submerge in freshwater, especially during molting.

  3. Care Requirements:

    • Lifespan: Vampire Crabs typically live around 2 years, whether in captivity or the wild.
    • Tank Size: A 10-gallon tank is suitable for keeping them.
    • Water Parameters: Maintain water conditions at 70°F-82°F, with a pH of 7.5-8.0 and 0-10 dKH.
