Description

Altum Peruvian Angelfish Large is a type of freshwater fish. Here are some details about their care requirements:

  1. Temperature: Altum Peruvian Angelfish Large prefer a water temperature range of 78°F to 82°F (25.5°C to 27.5°C).

  2. Minimum Size Tank: To provide enough space for their growth and comfort, it is recommended to keep Altum Peruvian Veiltail Angelfish Large in a tank that is at least 50 gallons. A larger tank would be even better, especially if they are kept with other fish.

Feeding Habits: Altum Peruvian Angelfish Large are omnivores, so their diet should consist of a variety of foods. They can be fed high-quality flakes, pellets, frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and small insects.

Habitat Preference: These angelfish prefer a well-planted aquarium with plenty of hiding spaces. They also require open swimming spaces. A tank with driftwood and rocks to mimic their natural habitat is ideal.

Water pH Level: They prefer a slightly acidic to neutral water pH level, ideally between 6.0 and 7.0.

Behavior: Altum Peruvian Angelfish Large are generally peaceful fish, but they can become territorial during breeding. They are known to be relatively shy and may feel stressed in overly bright or aggressive environments.

Schooling or Solitary: Altum Peruvian Angelfish Large are known to be somewhat territorial but can be kept in groups, as long as the tank is large enough to accommodate their size and territorial behavior. Keeping them in a pair or small group is generally recommended.

It's important to regularly check and maintain water parameters, perform water changes, and provide a balanced diet to ensure the health and well-being of Altum Peruvian Angelfish
