  • Common Names: L144, Longfin Blue Eye Lemon Bristlenose Pleco, Golden Blue-Eye Bristlenose Pleco
  • Size: Typically grows to about 4-5.9" (10-15cm) in length 
  • Appearance: This pleco is known for its striking lemon-yellow color and blue eyes. The long fins and bristle like appendages on its face, especially prominent in males give it a distinct look.
  • Behavior: Generally peaceful and hardy, making it a great addition to most community aquariums. It is primarily nocturnal but can become active during the day if provided with plenty of hiding spots. 
  • Diet: Omnivorous, with a preference for plant matter. It enjoys high-quality vegetable flakes, sinking algae wafers, and fresh vegetables like zucchini and cucumber.  
  • Tank Requirements: A minimum tank size of 30 gallons is recommended. The tank should have plenty of driftwood / rocks and hiding places.  
  • Breeding: these plecos are cave breeders with the males taking care of the eggs
