Description

Epiplatys chaperi “Angona” is a beautiful and interesting species of killifish. 

Origin: This species is found in western Africa, specifically in countries like Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Togo
Appearance: The “Angona” variant is known for its striking orange-red fins.
Size: They typically grow to about 4 cm (1.6 inches) in length, although some specimens can reach up to 6.5 cm (2.6 inches).
Tank Requirements: They thrive in community aquariums with calm, select companion fish. They prefer water temperatures between 22°C to 28°C (72°F to 82°F).
Diet: They are not picky eaters and will accept most commercially available ornamental fish food, but they prefer to feed from the water surface1.
Behavior: Peaceful and suitable for community tanks, they do well with other non-aggressive species.
Lifespan: They typically live for 2-3 years.

These fish are relatively easy to care for and make a great addition to a well-maintained aquarium.
