  • Tank Requirements: A minimum tank size of 20 gallons is recommended. They thrive in well-planted aquariums with plenty of swimming space
  • Water Conditions: They prefer temperatures between 64-82°F (18-28°C) and a pH range of 7.0-8.3
  • Diet: Pineapple Swordtails are omnivores and will eat a variety of foods, including flake food, algae, and freeze-dried or live foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp
  • Behavior: Generally peaceful, but males can be territorial. It's best to keep them with other community fish
  • Breeding: They are livebearers, meaning females give birth to live young. A female can give birth to up to 80 fry at a time
