Dumbo Santa Guppy is a delightful and festive variant of the Fancy Guppy, known for its large, "dumbo" pectoral fins and vibrant red and white coloration that evokes the spirit of the holiday season. 

  • Size: They typically grow to about 1.5–2 inches (3.8–5 cm) in length
  • Lifespan: They can live for 2–3 years with proper care.
  • Habitat: Native to South America, they thrive in warm, slow-moving waters with plenty of vegetation
  • Behavior: These guppies are peaceful and do well in community tanks. They are active swimmers and enjoy exploring their environment
  • Tank Setup: A minimum tank size of 10 gallons is recommended. They prefer a well-planted tank with plenty of hiding spots and moderate lighting to showcase their colors
  • Diet: Dumbo Santa Guppies are omnivores. They thrive on a varied diet that includes high-quality flakes or pellets, as well as live or frozen foods like brine shrimp or bloodworms
  • Breeding: They are livebearers, meaning they give birth to free-swimming young rather than laying eggs. This makes them prolific breeders
