  • Origin: Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia)
  • Size: 10–12 cm (4–5 inches)
  • Lifespan: 4–6 years
  • Temperament: Peaceful, shy but confident in planted tanks
  • Ideal Group Size: Best kept in pairs or small groups (1 male with 2–3 females)

Tank Requirements

  • Tank Size: Minimum 30 gallons
  • Water Parameters:
    • Temperature: 24–28°C (75–82°F)
    • pH: 6.0–7.5
    • Hardness: Soft to moderately hard
