L205 Andes Tiger Pleco (Peckoltia sp. L205) is a stunning and relatively peaceful species of suckermouth catfish from the Amazon basin, particularly the Rio Ucayali  in Peru


Species Overview
  • Scientific Name: Peckoltia sp. L205
  • Common Name: Andes Tiger Pleco
  • Family: Loricariidae
  • Origin: Peru – Rio Ucayali system
  • Size: Up to 13 cm (5 inches)
  • Temperament: Peaceful; minor territorial behavior among conspecifics
  • Lifespan: 8–10 years with proper care
