  • Coloration: Deep, saturated red body with red eyes (albino morph); males have a sword-like tail extension

Aquarium Care

Tank Requirements

  • Minimum Tank Size: 20–30 gallons 
  • Tank Setup:
    • Well-planted with open swimming space
    • Provide a secure lid — they are known jumpers 
    • Ideal in groups or harems (1 male to multiple females) to reduce aggression
