1. Temperature: Blue Guianacara thrives in tropical temperatures ranging from 75 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit (24 to 28 degrees Celsius).

2. Minimum Tank Size: A tank with a capacity of at least 30 gallons is recommended for a pair or a small group of Blue Guianacara. A larger tank can be beneficial for providing more swimming space.

Feeding Habits: Blue Guianacara is omnivorous. In captivity, they can be fed a varied diet consisting of high-quality pellets, flakes, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp, bloodworms, and small invertebrates.

Habitat Preference: These cichlids are found in slow-moving rivers and tributaries with sandy or muddy substrates. They appreciate a tank with similar conditions, including the addition of driftwood and rocks to create hiding spots.

Water pH Level: Blue Guianacara prefers slightly acidic to neutral water conditions. Aim for a pH range of 6.0 to 7.5.
