African Dwarf Frogs, specifically Hymenochirus boettgeri  and Hymenochirus curtipes, are fascinating and popular choices for aquarium enthusiasts.

Size: They typically grow to about 2.5 inches (6-7 cm) in length
Lifespan: With proper care, they can live up to 5-8 years.
Water Parameters: They thrive in water temperatures between 73°F and 79°F (23°C to 26°C) and a pH range of 6.5 to 7.5
Diet: These frogs are carnivorous and enjoy a diet of brine shrimp, bloodworms, and other small invertebrates.
Behavior: They are fully aquatic and need to surface for air. They are peaceful but can be shy, often hiding in plants or decorations
Tank Setup: A minimum of a 5-gallon tank is recommended, with plenty of hiding spots and gentle filtration to avoid strong currents.

African Dwarf Frogs are known for their unique behaviors, such as floating motionless at the surface (a behavior called "burbling") and occasionally making quiet humming sounds, especially males during mating calls.
