- Proof Required: We may require photos of the deceased animal, proof of purchase (receipt/order number), and/or a water sample from your tank for testing.

- The Variatus Platy exhibits striking and diverse color patterns, making it a vibrant addition to aquariums worldwide.
- Their slender and elongated bodies are characterized by dorsal fins that extend slightly longer than their counterparts.
- The anterior portion of their bodies adopts a yellowish hue embellished with intricate black shading, transitioning towards a vibrant orangy-red shade in the posterior half, including the caudal fin.
- Thoier dorsal finsa re prminenently yellow complimented by a distinctive black edging on both the dorsal and caudal fins.

Behavior and Social Dynamics:
- Variatus Platys exhibit schooling behavior, so it’s advisable to maintain a ratio of at least two females for every male within the group. This balance prevents undue stress on individual females caused by persistent courtship efforts from males.
- They are peaceful and compatible with many fish species, including Livebearers, Rainbowfish, Dwarf Cichlids, and Tetras. Bottom-dwelling fish like Corydoras Catfish can also complement Platys by occupying different tank areas.
- Avoid housing with aggressive or nippy species as thy have a gentle nature and venerable to harassment.
