- We guarantee our livestock for 7 days from purchase/delivery if our care recommendations and tank requirements were followed.
- Proof Required: We may require photos of the deceased animal, proof of purchase (receipt/order number), and/or a water sample from your tank for testing.

- Local customers may return livestock within 72 hours of purchase for a refund, provided the animal is alive and in original condition. Returns must be brought to the store; we do not provide pickup services.

Nannacara sp. "Sourourou"
- An undescribed Nannacara species from the Sourourou Creek drainage in French Guiana.
- Considered closely related to Nannacara aureocephalus and Nannacara anomala.
- Highly sought after by dwarf cichlid enthusiasts due to its rarity and locality-specific origin.
Nannacara aureocephalus (Goldhead Nannacara)
- Origin: French Guiana, including the Approuague basin and nearby coastal drainages.
- Adult size:
- Males up to 10-12 cm (4-5")
- Females about 5-6 cm (2-2.5")
- Distinguishing feature: Mature males develop a striking golden-yellow head and gill cover, which gives the species its name.
Care Requirements
- Temperature: 23-27°C (73-81°F)
- pH: 5.5-7.0
- Soft, slightly acidic water preferred.
- Fine sand substrate, leaf litter, wood, and abundant cover are recommended.
The Sourourou form is typically considered the rarer and more collectible fish, while aureocephalus is the better-known species and tends to be more readily available.
