Biotodoma wavrini, commonly known as the Orinoco Eartheater, is a species of cichlid in the tribe Geophagini[

Key characteristics:

Size: They can grow up to 10 cm (4 inches) in length
Habitat: They are found in the middle and upper Rio Negro drainage in Brazil and Venezuela, and in the Orinoco River basin in Colombia and Venezuela. They inhabit slow-moving waters with sandy substrates, where they sift through the sand for food
Appearance: They have a relatively slender body with a distinctive coloration that includes a series of vertical bars along their flanks

Aquarium Care:

Tank Size: A minimum tank size of 150 cm (60 inches) in length is recommended
Water Conditions: They prefer soft, slightly acidic to neutral water with temperatures between 24-28°C (75-82°F)
Diet: They are omnivorous and can be fed a variety of foods, including live, frozen, and high-quality dry foods
Behavior: They are generally peaceful but can be territorial, especially during breeding
