Halfmoon plakat bettas have shorter fins, but the caudal fin still forms a perfect half-circle when fully flared. If purchasing this fish online without a prior reservation, you will be given a staff pick (a fish we think is particularly beautiful).
Female bettas can be kept in groups, but this requires additional care and research. Please ensure you keep a minimum of five in a 20+ gallon aquarium with many decorations and plants (you shouldn't be able to see the back of the aquarium in most places).
