Energy Efficiency:
- Light risers allow you to position your aquarium light at an optimal height. By raising the light fixture, you can achieve better light distribution without wasting energy on excessive brightness.
Reduced Maintenance:
- When the light is too close to the water surface, it can lead to algae growth and increased maintenance efforts. By using the light riser, you can elevate the light source reducing the need for frequent cleaning and algae removal.
Heat Sensitivity:
- Some aquarium lights are sensitive to heat. Placing them directly on the tank’s rim or water surface can cause overheating. Al set of risers proved better ventilation, preventing excessive heat build ups and prolonging the lifespan of your light fixture.
