Optimize your Marineland hang on back filters by swapping the intake. Switching from the square intake to ours allows you to run a pre filter sponge. This extends the life of your media inside the filter and adds extra mechanical and biological filtration capacity. Made to fit your intake, the angle keeps the pre filter away from the glass and off the bottom.

Penguin Pro 125/175 Adapter Dimensions: 3.25" x 2 " fits medium pre-sponge filter 

Penguin Pro 275 Adapter Dimensions: 6.25" x 2.6" fits Large pre-sponge filter

Penguin Pro 375/Emperor Pro 450Adapter Dimensions: 6.25" x 2.6"  fits large pre-filter sponge 

Note: These adapters are designed to fit the newer models with the round tubes, and not the older models that came with rectangular intake tubing. 

These parts are 3D printed with material that is sensitive to higher temperature. Do not place in direct sunlight, dishwasher, microwave, or hot water, as it may cause damage to the product.
