  1. Temperature:  Red Cherry Shrimp thrive in temperatures ranging from 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 26°C). They prefer stable water temperatures, so it's essential to use a reliable heater and thermometer to maintain a consistent environment.

  2. Minimum Tank Size: Dark Red Cherry Shrimp are relatively small and do not require a large tank. A minimum tank size of 5 gallons (19 liters) is recommended for a small colony of shrimp. However, it's important to note that the more space you provide, the better it is for their overall health and breeding.

These shrimp are peaceful and non-aggressive, making them suitable for community tanks with other small, non-predatory fish. They are popular for their algae-eating habits and are often used in aquariums for natural algae control. Dark Red Cherry Shrimp are easy to care for, but it's important to maintain good water quality, provide hiding places, and ensure a suitable substrate for them to graze on.
